● Meinong Folk Village 
 Meinong has been home to tobacco farmers. It is a unique Hakka town，dotted with green
 tobacco farms and red brick-and-tile houses. It once contributed to as much as a 
quarter of the national tobacco production. Visitors can hardly take their eyes off the
 green tobacco farms，which stretch all the way downhill with red-tiled tobacco barns 
interwoven in between. 

● Fo Guang Shan Monastery
Since the Founding Master Venerable Hsing Yun established Fo Guang Shan in 1967,it has
evolved from a mountain-top bamboo forest to the largest Buddhist monastery in Taiwan 
and an internationally recognized site of pilgrimage.
