Lion Travel reserves the right to adjust orders. Train Capacity: This itinerary utilizes the "Future" (The Future) exclusive charter train. Available seats do not represent the final group size and will be adjusted based on actual seating and Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) operations. Seating Arrangements: Seats are assigned based on the chronological order of registration. The TRA reserves the right to adjust carriage sequences; final seat assignments are subject to the ticket information received on the day of boarding. Ticket Preservation: Passengers must hold a physical or digital ticket as proof of boarding. Please keep it safe, as lost tickets cannot be reissued. Itinerary Order: The sequence of the tour may be adjusted based on the specific departure time and train schedule. The final content will be based on the tour manual. To ensure smooth operations, some groups may follow cross-scheduled itineraries. Weather Conditions: For outdoor activities, the company reserves the right to change or adjust the itinerary in the event of rain or inclement weather to ensure passenger safety. Package Deals: This is a packaged product. No refunds will be provided for any items or services voluntarily waived by the passenger for personal reasons. Railway Disruptions: In the event of temporary closures or safety concerns, operations will follow TRA instructions regarding itinerary adjustments or alternative transportation. Dietary Requirements: Please inform us of any food allergies or special dietary needs upon registration to allow for restaurant arrangements. Accessibility: Please be advised that "The Future" train currently does not offer a barrier-free (handicap accessible) environment. Customized Items: Personalized tour manuals, tickets, and IDs are prepared for this journey. Passengers must complete registration at least 14 days before departure. For bookings made within 14 days, digital manuals and temporary versions of tickets/IDs will be provided instead. Railway Safety: At all stops, please follow the instructions of the tour leader. Crossing tracks or entering prohibited areas is strictly forbidden. According to the Railway Act, the Railway Police may issue fines for staying in restricted zones, crossing yellow platform lines, or entering non-passenger carriages. Special Health Status: Please proactively inform us if any guests have mobility issues, chronic diseases, or are aged 70 or above. Safety & Group Rights: To ensure safety and the quality of the tour for all members, guests with mobility issues must be accompanied by at least two family members or friends. Eligibility will be determined following a company assessment. Necessary fees may apply for late notifications after deposit payment. Bus Transport: Tour buses will be adjusted based on the number of participants, ranging from the "Future Bus" to Lion Travel’s 3-row, 4-row, or 9-seater business vehicles. Cost & Billing Details Luggage Service: Luggage check-in is provided at the meeting points (Nangang/Xinwuri/Xinzuoying) and delivered directly to the hotel. Please do not pack valuables or daily essentials in checked luggage, as it cannot be accessed while the train is in motion. Luggage Dimensions: Each checked item must not exceed 150cm in length, with a total sum of dimensions (L+W+H) under 220cm, and a total weight not exceeding 40kg. Delivery Scope: From the departure station to the hotel lobby, between hotels (if changing), and from the hotel to the return station. Rooming: Pricing is based on two people sharing a standard double room. Availability for other room types is limited and subject to final confirmation. Accommodation Quality: To ensure comfort, groups of four will be arranged in two double rooms; four-person room pricing is not provided. Single Supplements: Single travelers will be required to pay a single room supplement if no same-sex roommate is available for pairing. Child Definitions: Ages 6–12: Must occupy a bed; pricing is the same as adults. Ages 2–5: May choose not to occupy a bed (hotel bed not included); limit one child per room. Under Age 2 (Infant): Includes only train/bus seats and insurance.

Full fare for "The Future" aesthetic train, attractions listed, meals, transportation, shuttle services, luggage delivery, onboard services, tour staff, and travel industry liability insurance.
Exclusions
Personal expenses not listed (e.g., hotel beverages, mini-bar), and personal accident insurance.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
The participant may cancel the contract before the start of the tour. Compensation must be made according to the following schedule: More than 41 days before the tour begins: A cancellation fee of 5% of the total tour price. 31 to 40 days before the tour begins: A cancellation fee of 10% of the total tour price. 21 to 30 days before the tour begins: A cancellation fee of 20% of the total tour price. 2 to 20 days before the tour begins: A cancellation fee of 30% of the total tour price. 1 day before the tour begins: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour price. On the day the tour begins or after, or if the participant does not show up without prior notice: A cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour price. The compensation is based on the total tour price, with the administrative fees deducted before calculating the damage compensation. If the tour operator can prove that their actual damages exceed the cancellation fee outlined above, they may request compensation for the actual damages incurred. -Cancellation by the Operator: If the tour is canceled by the operator due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government regulations, or insufficient participants), participants will receive a full refund.

What is the cancellation policy for the travel package?

- 1 day before the tour begins: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour price.

2. Cancellation by the Travel Agency:
If the travel agency cancels the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, etc.), the full payment will be refunded or can be used for a future booking, based on the customer's preference.
Refund Process:
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days, based on the original payment method.
Is travel insurance included in the package?
We provide basic Taiwan travel liability insurance (only during the itinerary). However, we strongly recommend purchasing additional travel insurance for your entire trip to Taiwan for comprehensive coverage.
What is the currency used in Taiwan?
The official currency of Taiwan is the New Taiwan Dollar (TWD). It is recommended to prepare some TWD cash for traveling in Taiwan, as smaller vendors, local markets, and rural areas may not accept credit cards. However, credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, larger restaurants, department stores, and tourist attractions.
